Working Group Dog Breeds
Members of this group were bred to work at such jobs as guarding, pulling, water rescue, search and find and many other types of working tasks. Over the years they have served people in various types of service.
These dogs are well known for their intelligence, being able to learn their tasks rather quickly. These animals are happiest when working and pleasing their owners or handlers. Because of their large size and strength they do not make good household pets for everyone. They require commitment and firm hand. They also need a lot of training to be well behaved dogs.
The Doberman Pinscher, the Siberian Husky, and the Neapolitan Mastiff are only a few of the breeds making up this group.
